What is Keystone Connect? Keystone Connect is an independent renovation advisory for homeowners in Southern California. We introduce two or three licensed, insured builders who fit your project, set up the walkthroughs, lay their bids out side by side in the same format, flag what's missing or risky before you sign, and stay with you through the build. - How much does it cost? Nothing. Homeowners never pay us, before or after they hire. You pay the builder you choose, at their price. We don't add anything to it. - So how do you get paid? Builders in our network pay us a fee when a homeowner hires them through us. We don't add anything to your price. You choose the builder; we never decide for you. - How is this different from Angi, Houzz or HomeAdvisor? Those are directories and lead marketplaces: your details go to several contractors, who then call you. We don't sell your information. We talk with you first, pick two or three builders for the specific job, and help you compare their bids on the same scope. - How do you check the builders? Every builder has an active CSLB license in the right classification, which we re-check against the state's license records every day. We read their general liability certificate, confirm it with the insurance agent, and track the expiry date. We also call references before we introduce anyone. - Where do you work? Seven Southern California counties: Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura and Santa Barbara. That's every incorporated city in those counties plus neighborhoods like Sherman Oaks, Pacific Palisades and La Jolla. Our office is in Van Nuys. - What kinds of projects? Mostly larger home projects: ADUs, additions, kitchens and baths, full remodels, new homes, and rebuilds after the Palisades and Eaton fires. Most of the projects we help with run $50,000 to $500,000. - I already have a bid. Can you help? Run it through Grade My Bid first. It checks your bid against what California requires in a home improvement contract. If you'd like other bids on the same scope to compare it with, we can line up builders for that. ## Optional - [Full text of the guides](https://keystoneconnect.us/llms-full.txt) - [Sitemap](https://keystoneconnect.us/sitemap.xml)
